Co-organis\u00e9e par le Fuel Cells Hydrogen JU et la Commission europ\u00e9enne, cette grand-messe du secteur fut l&rsquo;occasion pour les partie-prenantes (responsables politiques, industrie, soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile, communaut\u00e9 de recherche) d&rsquo;\u00e9noncer un certain nombre de priorit\u00e9s strat\u00e9giques. Ce fut \u00e9galement une opportunit\u00e9 pour les principaux acteurs politiques de l\u2019UE de marquer l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement de leurs annonces.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Un discours d\u2019ouverture pointant l&rsquo;enjeu climatique<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lors du <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=33GXRTI0Mms&amp;ab_channel=EuropeanCommission\">discours d\u2019ouverture de la European Hydrogen Week 2021<\/a>, la pr\u00e9sidente de la Commission europ\u00e9enne Ursula Von Der Leyen a r\u00e9affirm\u00e9 la place centrale qu\u2019il sera essentiel d\u2019accorder \u00e0 l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne propre dans l&rsquo;\u00e9conomie climatiquement neutre de l&rsquo;avenir. Elle met en perspective cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement sur l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne avec les discussions tenues \u00e0 Glasgow d\u00e9but novembre (COP26).<\/p>\n<p>Trois points cl\u00e9s ressortent du propos de la pr\u00e9sidente de la Commission\u00a0:<\/p>\n<p>1 &#8211; Pour atteindre les objectifs climatiques, nous devons acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer l&rsquo;\u00e9conomie europ\u00e9enne de l&rsquo;hydrog\u00e8ne. La Commission a ainsi fix\u00e9 l&rsquo;objectif ambitieux de porter la production annuelle europ\u00e9enne d&rsquo;hydrog\u00e8ne vert \u00e0 10 millions de tonnes d&rsquo;ici \u00e0 2030.<\/p>\n<p>2 &#8211; L&rsquo;Europe comme un pionnier dans la construction d&rsquo;un march\u00e9 mondial de l&rsquo;hydrog\u00e8ne. C\u2019est en ce sens que la Commission s\u2019est engag\u00e9, avec d\u2019autres pays, \u00e0 cr\u00e9er 100 vall\u00e9es de l&rsquo;hydrog\u00e8ne dans le monde. L&rsquo;hydrog\u00e8ne propre est un sujet global qui doit impliquer tous les partenaires mondiaux de l\u2019UE, y compris en Afrique.<\/p>\n<p>3 &#8211; La coop\u00e9ration est le mot cl\u00e9 du programme europ\u00e9en pour l&rsquo;hydrog\u00e8ne. Elle devra se faire tant avec les Etats tiers qu\u2019avec les parties prenantes priv\u00e9es en Europe. C&rsquo;est le sens de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ech2a.eu\/\">l&rsquo;Alliance europ\u00e9enne pour l&rsquo;hydrog\u00e8ne propre<\/a>, qui compte 1 500 membres \u00e0 ce jour, et dont le r\u00f4le est de collecter des projets d&rsquo;investissement viables dans l&rsquo;hydrog\u00e8ne propre. C\u2019est aussi le sens du <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fch.europa.eu\/\">JU Clean Hydrogen<\/a> qui r\u00e9unit la Commission europ\u00e9enne, l&rsquo;industrie de l&rsquo;hydrog\u00e8ne, des chercheurs et des innovateurs ainsi que des d\u00e9cideurs politiques des \u00c9tats membres, dans le but d\u2019\u00e9laborer un agenda strat\u00e9gique durable et comp\u00e9titif en mati\u00e8re de recherche et d\u2019innovation sur l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne propre.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les priorit\u00e9s strat\u00e9giques pour l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La European Hydrogen Week 2021 fut l\u2019occasion pour le secteur de pr\u00e9senter ses priorit\u00e9s strat\u00e9giques pour l&rsquo;\u00e9conomie de l&rsquo;hydrog\u00e8ne. Tous les acteurs, y compris la communaut\u00e9 scientifique, ont pu discuter de ces priorit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Les priorit\u00e9s g\u00e9n\u00e9rales visent \u00e0 combler les \u00e9carts entre les technologies pr\u00eates \u00e0 \u00eatre commercialis\u00e9es et l&rsquo;adoption \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle, tout en poursuivant les efforts pour am\u00e9liorer et diversifier les options technologiques.<\/p>\n<p>Plus sp\u00e9cifiquement, on retrouve l&rsquo;importance de l&rsquo;acquisition de comp\u00e9tences sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation d&rsquo;un centre de connaissances sur l&rsquo;hydrog\u00e8ne, en passant par la mani\u00e8re dont l&rsquo;UE peut intensifier la production, la distribution, le stockage et la consommation rentables d&rsquo;hydrog\u00e8ne renouvelable.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Focus sur le secteur de la mobilit\u00e9<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les priorit\u00e9s strat\u00e9giques pour l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne couvrent un certain nombre de secteurs. Si la production reste \u00e0 ce jour le principal point d\u2019attention des partie prenantes, le sujet de la mobilit\u00e9 comme usage reste largement \u00e9voqu\u00e9 dans les discussions.<\/p>\n<p>Dans la logique de l\u2019objectif de l\u2019UE d\u2019\u00eatre neutre sur le plan climatique d&rsquo;ici \u00e0 2050, le secteur des transports se trouve soumis \u00e0 des pressions pour r\u00e9duire ses \u00e9missions. La <a href=\"https:\/\/transport.ec.europa.eu\/transport-themes\/mobility-strategy_en\">strat\u00e9gie de l\u2019UE en faveur de la mobilit\u00e9 durable et intelligente<\/a> (SSMS) d\u00e9finit la marche \u00e0 suivre pour atteindre cet objectif et place l&rsquo;hydrog\u00e8ne propre comme un \u00e9l\u00e9ment essentiel \u00e0 sa mise en \u0153uvre.<\/p>\n<p>Pour y parvenir, la Commissaire europ\u00e9enne en charge du Transport Adina Valean a identifi\u00e9 deux priorit\u00e9s\u00a0: renforcer \u00e0 la fois la production et les canaux de distribution. Pour le transport routier, la Commissaire annonce des objectifs contraignants pour les stations de ravitaillement en hydrog\u00e8ne dans la proposition de nouveau r\u00e8glement sur les infrastructures de carburants de substitution (AFIR).<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019objectif est de cr\u00e9er un r\u00e9seau suffisamment dense de stations de ravitaillement en hydrog\u00e8ne pour assurer une connectivit\u00e9 transfrontali\u00e8re et faire circuler 60 000 camions \u00e0 hydrog\u00e8ne en Europe d&rsquo;ici \u00e0 2030.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne est per\u00e7u par les acteurs politiques de l\u2019UE comme un levier pour accroitre le processus de d\u00e9carbonation de la mobilit\u00e9. Le travail de sensibilisation effectu\u00e9 par le secteur de la mobilit\u00e9 est r\u00e9ussi. Reste \u00e0 savoir si cela se traduira par des collaborations ambitieuses entre acteurs publics et priv\u00e9s, de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer le d\u00e9ploiement de l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle, et \u00ab\u00a0faire de ce potentiel une r\u00e9alit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>L\u2019\u00e9dition 2021 de la European Hydrogen Week s\u2019est tenue la semaine pass\u00e9e &#8211; du 29 novembre au 3 d\u00e9cembre.
